We’re inviting local artists to be part of a vibrant Community Art Exhibition held during our Car Show on May 2, 2026. This is a no‑cost opportunity to gain visibility, connect with the community, and contribute to long‑term community impact.
Artwork Submissions
- Eligible artwork:
- Created now through the event date or
- Previously created original pieces
- You must submit:
- Your own original artwork
- A brief artist story explaining:
- Why you created the piece
- Your inspiration
In‑Person Display Details
- Display setup:
- Under a tent
- On a table
- Please bring:
- Your artwork
- A nameplate
- A printed copy of your artist story and art piece story
- Artwork drop‑off:
- One hour before the car show begins
Space & Safety Planning (In‑Person Artists)
To ensure safe and appropriate placement, please provide:
- Artwork dimensions
- Materials used
- Type of paint or medium
- Any additional display or handling considerations
Virtual Submissions
Virtual participation is available for artists who may have concerns about:
- Transporting artwork
- Potential damage while traveling
This option provides a safe space for visibility and inclusion.
Virtual artists:
- Are included in community voting
- Are eligible for prizes
- Remain fully part of the event experience

How does voting work?
- Voting opens on May 2, 2026
- Community members can vote:
- In person
- Virtually
- Prizes awarded to the Top 3 vote‑getters
- Winners announced live at the Cinco De Mayo Facebook page and after the event
Optional Artwork Donation
Do I have to donate my artwork?
- Donation is not required
- Donations are optional but encouraged
- If you choose to donate:
- Select the donation checkbox during registration
- Artwork may be auctioned later in the year
- Proceeds support Community Economics initiatives, including:
- Scholarships
- Real estate classes
- Community workshops and much more!

Do I have to bring my artwork to the car show?
